TrueLink terms & privacy.

What the service provides

VCMP TrueLink is provided by StartMadeSimple Ltd. It publishes a record of destinations declared by the controller of a business domain and compares submitted addresses with that record. It is not an identity check, malware scanner, scam guarantee, social platform endorsement or automatic takedown service. It does not independently verify control of listed social accounts. Checks of domain control expire after seven days.

Your responsibility

You must control the domain you register, have authority to publish the business details and links, and keep them accurate. Do not publish misleading, illegal or impersonating content. Do not include private customer information. We may pause records that misuse the service. Keep a copy of your destinations; the service does not replace your website or social accounts.

Billing and cancellation

TrueLink costs £19 per month for one record and up to ten destinations. The total charge is shown before you confirm in Stripe. Billing begins when checkout completes and renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel through Manage subscription in your record. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the portal specifies otherwise. The demo is free and synthetic. Data and privacy

We store your account email, hashed sign-in challenges and sessions, your business source record, domain verification evidence, and Stripe customer and subscription references. Stripe processes payment details; we do not store card numbers. Our existing email service delivers sign-in codes. Requests are protected with rate limits and hashed network identifiers. Submitted addresses are compared locally in your browser and are not transmitted to TrueLink by the checker. Normal website delivery and existing site analytics may still process technical usage data.

Public and private information

Publishing exposes your business name, description, domain, declared destinations, verification dates and revision. Your email, sign-in details and billing identifiers remain private. You can unpublish immediately. Contact herman@startsimple.cc to request account data, correction or deletion. We retain necessary billing records where required. Sign-in challenges expire after ten minutes and sessions after 24 hours.

Availability and limitations

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or detection of every suspicious address. A matching address can still be compromised or lead to unsafe content. A mismatch does not prove wrongdoing. Follow normal security precautions and contact a business through a channel you already trust if you are unsure. The service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube or TikTok.
