What Solo is

Solo by VCMP is connected business software for independent service businesses. It brings a website, bookings, customer records, quotes and invoices into one workspace. Solo is part of the VCMP product family; VCMP is a StartMadeSimple company. The company name used on the main website is StartMadeSimple Ltd.

The canonical product page is Solo by VCMP. This is distinct from SOLO POS, the dedicated counter-sales product.

Included workflows and their limits

  • Website and online booking: publish services and a booking route connected to the workspace; check provider availability and any deposit eligibility for your setup.
  • Customer management: keep customer details and relevant service context close to appointments and rebooking.
  • Quotes and invoices: prepare customer-linked documents and check the steps your service needs between booking, quotation, deposit and balance.

Keep specialist requirements explicit. Do not assume that route optimisation, clinical records, packages, automatic migration or every external integration are included. Ask for a demonstration of the exact workflow you need.

Subscription and trial terms

UK organisations
£37 GBP per month including VAT, with £0 per additional staff member.
Approved non-US international organisations
£37 GBP per month excluding applicable taxes. Exchange rates and bank fees may affect the local amount paid.
US organisations
The USD subscription price is confirmed at secure checkout.
Seven-day free trial
No subscription payment today. Stripe securely sets up and may verify the card; the first subscription payment is taken after the trial unless cancelled during it.

The currency used to run your business can differ from the currency used to bill the Solo subscription. Check supported countries and operating currencies and the terms shown during signup. A translated page does not by itself establish commercial availability in every country where that language is spoken.

How SOLO POS differs

The current standalone SOLO POS software offer is £37 per month. Hardware, setup and payment-provider charges are separate; confirm tax treatment and any combined offer in your quote. Its Profit & Loss view is an estimated management result based on recorded sales and costs.
