Is SOLO POS live?
Yes. SOLO POS supports 30 industries, with Profit & Loss included. Tell us your business type and we will help you choose the right setup.
What does the £37 monthly price cover?
£37/month is the standalone SOLO POS software price. Hardware, setup and payment-provider charges are separate. We will confirm the full quote, VAT treatment and onboarding arrangements for your business before you commit.
Are these ready-to-buy hardware bundles?
These are two proposed Samsung-based configurations with estimated retail parts costs, including VAT and excluding delivery. We will confirm the supplied model, availability, final price and tested printer/drawer workflow in your quote. A Bluetooth printer specification alone does not confirm browser-based printing compatibility. Card terminals are separate.
Does using Samsung make the complete kit CRA compliant?
Samsung provides useful manufacturer evidence: a published security-update period for the Galaxy Tab A11+ and a model-specific EU declaration covering radio-equipment cybersecurity standards. Those are distinct from conformity with the EU Cyber Resilience Act, and do not certify the complete SOLO POS kit. See Samsung’s support information, its SM-X230 declaration and the European Commission’s CRA guidance.
How do card payments work today?
Your separate card terminal authorises the payment; your team then records the approved card payment in SOLO POS. Integrated card payments are on our roadmap. Your payment-provider contract and charges remain separate from the software subscription.
What happens if the internet drops?
An authorised tablet and staff PIN must be prepared online first. The counter can save sales during an internet interruption within its offline access limits, then sync when reconnected. Card payments still depend on the terminal’s connection. Keep the tablet’s site data until all sales have synced.
Can I use it with Solo?
SOLO POS is available on its own. If you also want Solo’s website, booking and customer-management tools, ask us about the available combination and the integrations planned for your industry.
When is Profit & Loss available?
Profit & Loss is now available in SOLO POS. Bring sales, product costs, staff costs and overheads together in an estimated management result. It is an operational view based on the information entered, not statutory accounts.
