VCMP Unfold

Unfold product terms

Updated 5 October 2026. These terms describe VCMP Unfold's document service and supplement the VCMP terms. Questions: herman@startsimple.cc.

What the service provides

Unfold extracts fields, source excerpts, tables and Markdown from supported uploads, for review and export. It does not automatically post transactions or make changes to bookings, stock, customer records or other external systems.

Free trial and paid plans

A verified workspace receives 25 documents for seven days, starting when it is activated. No payment card is required and the trial does not automatically become paid. Everyday costs £19 per month for 100 documents per calendar month. Business costs £49 per month for 400 documents per calendar month. Prices are in GBP; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Paid subscriptions start when you complete Stripe checkout and renew monthly until cancelled. You can manage future renewal through the billing portal.

Document limits

One accepted file uses one document credit. Files must be no larger than 3 MB. PDFs can contain up to ten pages. Text and Word files can contain up to 50,000 characters. Batch uploads are limited to ten files. Extraction can include up to 20 fields and 200 table rows across five tables. Unsupported, unreadable or excessively complex files may be refused. Failed extractions do not use a document credit. Deleting a successful extraction does not return its credit.

Duplicates and allowances

The same file and extraction settings can reuse an existing result within its 30-day retention period without using another credit. Paid allowances reset each calendar month and unused credits do not roll over. Processing stops when the allowance is reached; automatic overage charges are not applied.

Review your results

AI extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. Review results against the original before using them. A source-match indicator means a value and excerpt match supplied text; it is not a guarantee of correctness. Source page references from visual extraction also require review. Unfold does not provide legal, financial or other professional advice.

Your documents and rights

You retain your rights in uploaded content and results. You must have the right to upload and process your documents. You authorise the processing described in the Unfold privacy notice to provide the service. Do not upload malicious files, attempt to access another organisation's information or bypass usage restrictions.

Availability and support

No uninterrupted service or fixed processing speed is promised. Processing depends on file complexity and service-provider availability. If a payment or processing failure affects your account, contact us so we can investigate the relevant records.
