Product facts and buyer guide · Reviewed · Buying guide updated

Who is it for?

Small businesses, property teams, venues and creators making social videos.

  • Create a short from existing media
  • Keep branding consistent
  • Download a video without a render subscription

What does it cover?

  • Scene templates with editable timing and captions
  • Portrait, square and landscape compositions
  • Browser rendering and device-saved drafts
  • MP4 on supported browsers; WebM fallback

How it fits the family

Clip assembles uploaded media into shorts. Amplio handles marketing planning and approvals. AI footage generation is not connected in this beta.

What to confirm before choosing

Existing VCMP accounts can use the free beta. Export support depends on browser codecs. Drafts are saved on this device, not synchronised across devices. Imported videos are silent; add your own soundtrack or voiceover file.

Buyer questions, answered

Does Clip generate AI footage for free?

No. This beta edits and renders your media in the browser. You can import footage created elsewhere. A self-hosted AI engine requires a separate GPU service and measured compute costs.

How long can a video be?

A Clip project can be up to 60 seconds, in portrait, square or landscape format. Scene timing is editable.

Where are my projects stored?

Drafts and uploaded media are saved in this browser's device storage under your VCMP account and organisation. Export backups before changing browsers or clearing site data.
