A screen can display a menu without being connected to live till prices. Confirm that connection explicitly if you require it; do not infer it from buying both products.

How can a coffee shop compare POS hardware fairly?
Use the same tablet, printer, drawer and payment arrangement for a representative counter order. Check staff access, item selection, a receipt and the resulting sales record. Solo POS handles orders, products, stock and reporting; agree device compatibility and the actual card-payment process separately, then include those costs in the written quote.
Will changing a till price also change the digital menu?
Solo POS product records and VCMP screen content are separate product functions. Test the update route you require and confirm any connection rather than assuming prices synchronise automatically. Assign a menu owner, publish a sample change and check the target display. Reconcile the menu price with the till before using the new offer during service.
