Give each obligation an owner and a deadline

A contract can explain what must happen without making the next action clear to the officer on duty. Command keeps contract sites and clause references alongside dated obligations with a responsible owner. Start with one obligation that your team already understands, then identify the evidence a reviewer needs to accept its completion.

For example, distinguish a patrol observation from an accepted delivery record. Photo or PDF evidence supports review; uploading a file alone is not the same as a reviewer accepting the obligation.

Follow the shift through to the client report

Officer readiness, post coverage, patrol records and accepted handovers connect the plan to the shift. Incident deadlines keep the reporting task visible after the immediate response. Command also supports offline capture with reconnect sync, so your evaluation should include what happens when a device loses connectivity and later returns online.

FireTrack and Waypoint remain distinct modules: equipment custody and credentials belong to FireTrack; sourced field intelligence and voluntary check-ins belong to Waypoint. Connected module access depends on the approved organisation setup. The public Command demo uses fictional records, so its examples are a workflow demonstration rather than evidence of a customer deployment.

Your evaluation checklist

  1. Choose a contract clause and identify its owner, deadline and acceptance evidence.
  2. Check readiness and handover responsibilities before assigning a shift.
  3. Try an offline observation and verify its status after reconnecting.
  4. Review an incident deadline and the evidence included in a client export.
