Revelsnap · Workflow note
Test a Revelsnap guest upload before printing the event QR code
Create a preview, try the private link and QR journey on guest devices, review gallery controls and download original files before the access window ends.
Rehearse the guest journey with non-sensitive files
Create a free preview and open the private link and QR code on the kinds of phones guests are likely to use. Upload a harmless test photo, short video and message without installing an app or creating a guest account. Check the instructions, mobile controls and what the organiser sees after each contribution.
Decide where the QR code and private link will appear, then test the printed size and destination before producing event signage. Keep the private link within the intended guest group. A successful scan opens the upload route; it does not guarantee connectivity, permission to share every image or that every guest will contribute.
Review sharing, storage and retrieval before the event
Confirm the current plan's storage, upload window, gallery expiry and sharing controls on the official site. Review how the organiser moderates or hides contributions and who can open the gallery. Use made-up event details for evaluation until those controls match the occasion's privacy expectations.
Download the original test files and open them outside the gallery. Record when the organiser will make final downloads and backups before access expires. Revelsnap collects event photos, videos and messages; Speech, Sorted supports personal speeches, and Encore manages venue enquiries and bookings.
Your evaluation checklist
- Open the private link and printed QR code on representative guest phones.
- Upload a safe test photo, video and message and inspect the organiser view.
- Confirm gallery sharing, moderation, storage, upload-window and expiry terms.
- Download original files and schedule the final retrieval and backup.
