Take personal stories from outline to rehearsal with Speech, Sorted

Prepare the role, audience and stories, review the generated speech and shorter version, then practise from cue cards rather than reading an unchecked draft.

Choose the stories before choosing the wording

Write down your role, the people you are speaking about, the audience and two or three stories you are genuinely comfortable sharing. Add names, relationships, tone and any subjects that are private or unsuitable. Start with the free outline and opening to see whether the structure feels like your speech before considering the paid pack.

Review the draft for facts, pronunciations and promises, and remove jokes or details that could embarrass someone. AI-assisted wording should help organise personal material rather than invent it. Ask another trusted person to check anything whose accuracy or appropriateness matters.

Prepare a shorter route through the same message

Compare the full speech with the shorter version and keep the essential story, thanks and closing clear in both. Turn the final structure into cue cards that prompt ideas rather than forcing you to read every sentence. Check the current pack, rewrite and access terms on the official site before purchasing.

Practise aloud with the rehearsal timer in the room conditions you can reproduce. Mark names, pauses and transitions that need attention, then revise for speaking rhythm. The useful output is a speech you can deliver in your own voice, not merely a downloaded document.

Your evaluation checklist

  1. Prepare your role, audience, names, two or three true stories and excluded topics.
  2. Review the outline before buying and check every fact in a generated draft.
  3. Compare the full and short versions, then create cue cards for the final structure.
  4. Rehearse aloud, time the delivery and revise wording that is hard to say.
