AnswerProof by VCMP · Workflow note
Run an AnswerProof question from captured answer to claim-level review
Agree the buyer question, preserve the answer and sources, compare each material claim with owner-verified facts and plan a bounded recheck.
Agree the question and the facts before judging the answer
Select a buyer question that matters to the business, then record the exact wording, platform, date, country, language and whether web search was used. Preserve the complete response and every visible cited URL, including the case where the business is absent. A later paraphrase is not an adequate audit record.
Prepare an owner-reviewed fact sheet for the services, opening hours, service areas and other details the question could surface. Break the sampled answer into material claims and mark each as supported, contradicted, unresolved or out of scope with the evidence beside it. An answer that sounds confident still needs the same source check.
Prioritise owned corrections and repeat the same test
Rank actions by customer impact and evidence. Correct the business's own public sources first where they are inaccurate or unclear, then note third-party records that require a separate owner-led process. Nothing should be published automatically, and an audit does not buy placement or guarantee that a model will use the corrected source.
After agreed changes are live, rerun the same question under the recorded conditions and keep the new answer alongside the original. A changed answer is evidence for that sample only, not proof of universal visibility. Confirm the pilot scope, available surfaces, delivery dates and final price before purchase.
Your evaluation checklist
- Record the exact question, platform, date, locale, search state, answer and citations.
- Prepare owner-verified facts and classify each material answer claim against evidence.
- Prioritise bounded corrections without implying paid placement or guaranteed inclusion.
- Repeat the same question later and retain both positive and missing results.
